दिल्ली जैसे महानगर में झुग्गियों (slums) की तादाद लगातार बढ़ती जा रही है। अनाधिकृत कब्जे (unauthorized encroachments) शहर की जमीन पर बोझ बन चुके हैं। DUSIB का उद्देश्य है –
- अवैध कब्जों को हटाना
- बेघर और झुग्गी निवासियों को पक्के मकान देना
- शहर को सुव्यवस्थित और स्मार्ट बनाना

🏠 DUSIB’s Rehabilitation Plan
DUSIB plans to offer:
- 1 BHK और 2 BHK फ्लैट्स (1BHK, 2BHK flats for slum dwellers)
- Flats under Jahan Jhuggi Wahan Makaan Yojana
- Basic amenities like water, electricity, sewer, and green spaces
👉 These flats will be constructed on DUSIB land cleared from encroachments and provided under subsidized schemes
